GRADE: From Evidence to Recommendations

NHMRC developed guidelines are now using GRADE (Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development and Evaluation), an internationally recognised approach to rate the quality of the evidence and the strength of recommendations. The GRADE Evidence to Decision (EtD) framework provides a structured and transparent approach to the development of recommendations and health policy making.
This introductory workshop will cover the principles of the GRADE approach for assessing evidence and making recommendations. This will include core theory and examples of the practical application of GRADE in the development of health advice.
