National Scientific Meeting

NSA’s Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) is the pre-eminent nutrition science conference in Australia. The location of the meeting rotates around Australia and New Zealand with every third meeting being a joint meeting of the Nutrition Society of Australia and the Nutrition Society of New Zealand. The meeting is held in New Zealand every six years.

The purpose of the ASM is to present the latest nutrition science research and discuss its implications and applications. The meetings invariably have a friendly and collegial atmosphere and have a strong tradition of support for nutrition science students. They are an excellent opportunity to network with peers and other scientists who have an interest in nutrition from Australia, New Zealand and around the world.

The 44th NSA Annual Scientific Meeting will be held at Massey University, Auckland Campus, New Zealand, from 1-4 December, 2020.

The theme for 2020 is Food and well-being in a changing world.
