The Adelaide Branch of the Nutrition Society of Australia invite you to attend this symposium on the importance of a whole-of-food-systems approach to nutrition and healthy diets. It will include a discussion of recent nutrition evidence and nutrition education initiatives, and conclude with implications for nutrition practice in Australia.

Speakers:

  • Dr Jessica Bogard (Nutrition Systems Scientist, CSIRO), will speak on “Linking nutrition and environmental sustainability: a whole of food systems approach to healthy diets”
  • Dr Kacie Dickinson (Lecturer, Flinders University) will speak on “Improving healthy eating information and nutritional quality of foods: an international perspective”
