Assessing individual dietary intake plays an important role in surveillance, epidemiology, and determining the effect of interventions. However, collection, analysis and interpretation of dietary intake data is not without its challenges. In this half-day seminar, advances in methods to address these challenges will be presented, along with updates on the Australian Food Composition Program and the next National Nutrition Survey.
